MJL Groundworks & Civils work with a number of clients and developers (both bespoke/local and national) to ensure that all Roads and Sewers are brought up to an adoptable standard for the local highways and water authorities. Our work varies from kerb and pin kerb replacements, gully cleaning, block paving works to full footway or carriageway planning and resurfacing.
Highway Adoption S38/S278
At MJL we will carry out all S38 and S278 remedial works or bespoke work and provide a detailed breakdown of each item. Our teams are fully equipped and trained to deliver these works in order for the developers and adoption specialists to achieve sign off.

MJL work alongside the local highways authority to ensure that all items are correctly addressed, we can manage any necessary Streetworks Permits that apply to any S278 works and deliver the works taking on full management control.

All projects are managed and controlled by the Senior Management Team, comprehensive RAMS are provided for each specific development and with communication being key, we can work with developers to letter drop residents, discuss our works and ensure that we keep disruption to an absolute minimum.
Foul and Surface S104 & S185
We can carry out a vast array of works across both FW and SW. Works include, but not limited to, new manhole construction, dig down and repairs both shallow and deep, replacement of cover and frames in both highway or soft, cleansing and CCTV works, PPIC installation and drainage installation amongst much more. Our qualified teams can understand drawings to be able to construct right first time.
